The Building Company was started in 1996 as a family enterprise.

 

Over the years we have become specialised in bespoke type projects with a preference for the unusual and unique. Our strength is in our service level and our standards of quality. We accomplish this through our strong relationship with our staff and sub-contractors.

 

Our staff are all well known to us and we maintain a strong relationship by upholding a dignified environment where all members see themselves as part of a team rather than the often disconnected relationship between management and artisan.

 

Over the years we have encountered almost all the different aspects of building projects, from domestic minor alterations to major commercial installations.

 

Our primary strength comes from our unique approach to projects, starting with a strong understanding of what is required by studying fully the client’s requirements. When we arrive on site, we are already very familiar with what is required and can therefore take responsibility for competent delivery.

 

The second part of our approach is our strongest asset – our staff, who are all in strong agreement with our policies and methods of production. Each staff member is important and has a voice. We have always found that this approach removes any need for a “firm hand”” and we all just get on with our tasks willingly.
